No. It writes to a draft theme only. Publishing a theme to your storefront happens in your Shopify admin, by you. There is no path by which HI Engine puts a change in front of a customer on its own.
Every build ships as a normal Shopify section or block with theme editor
settings. Your developer can read it, edit it, or delete it like any other part
of your theme. HI Engine never ships opaque custom_liquid.
Yes, without asking anyone. Customer-facing text is exposed as a theme editor setting. Open the theme editor, find the section, and rewrite it.
The first ideas arrive within a day of connecting. The first published change is usually within the first week. A measurable revenue effect depends on your traffic — a store with 20,000 monthly sessions can read a result in a couple of weeks, a smaller store needs longer.
The estimate is a ranking device. It uses a deliberately conservative assumption about how much of a problem a fix recovers, and it does not model seasonality, margin, or interaction with other changes. Use it to choose what to do first. See How impact is estimated.
Not strictly. HI Engine runs on Shopify alone. But without GA4 it cannot see sessions, devices or funnel steps, so the estimates rest on order data only and get much weaker. Connect it.
Yes. HI Engine reads your actual theme before it builds, and works within its structure. A heavily customised theme can make some changes slower, and the agent says so when that is the case.
Tell it, in Slack or in chat, and dismiss the idea. HI Engine will not re-propose a dismissed idea.
Yes. Describe the change in chat or in Slack and ask HI Engine to save it as an idea. It gathers the supporting data, scores it, and puts it on the same board.
Your team, and HI Engine staff supporting your account. Store data is isolated at the database level. It is never sold or shared with a third party. See Data and permissions.
Revoke the integrations listed in Data and permissions and tell your contact. Everything already published to your theme is yours and stays exactly where it is.
