Roles and billing
Who can see what, how a subscription works, and what happens when payment lapses.
Getting an account
HI Engine is set up with you, not self-serve.
- Your HI Engine contact creates the store and sends you an onboarding link.
- You complete the onboarding steps and the demo runs.
- When you decide to go ahead, you get a Stripe checkout link.
- Payment triggers an email invite. You follow it and land in a store that already has your connections in place.
Roles
| Role | Can |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything in the store: connections, ideas, approvals, team |
| Member | Read the board, approve and review, ask the agent |
| HI Engine admin | Support and account management across stores |
Add a colleague from the team page. They get an email invite. They see only the stores they belong to.
Plans
There are two tiers, Starter and Pro, billed monthly. Both start with a 14-day trial.
What each tier includes depends on your store's size and how much of the work you want HI Engine to run. Ask your contact which one fits — they price it against your traffic and your build volume.
Changing tier does not interrupt anything in flight.
Billing states
| State | Access |
|---|---|
| Trialing | Full access |
| Active | Full access |
| Past due | Full access, while payment is retried |
| Canceled | Sign-in redirects to a billing notice |
If your account moves to canceled, nothing is deleted. Your themes are yours and stay in Shopify. Restore access by contacting HI Engine.
Changing card or cancelling
Contact your HI Engine account manager. Billing changes are handled directly, not through a self-serve portal.
